  • Vibrant student Life: a campus culture shaped by over 70 student organisations and high-level recruitment fairs.

Every university has the responsibility to develop strategies, policies and approaches to support student success. Professional services play a key role in creating the best conditions for student experimental learning:

  • Adding value to the education experience, empowering students to navigate an unpredictable world to become successful and resilient graduates
  • Providing effective support services to underpin the student lifecycle journey
  • Improving retention through data-informed initiatives and practical tools to monitor student progress (leveraging learning analytics, Artificial Intelligence
  • Operating innovative physical spaces in which students live, study and learn and foster community and deep learning

From mental health and wellbeing to challenges related to accommodation shortages, costs and an unpredictable world, universities must support their students, monitor progress and offer guidance. They must offer curricular and extracurricular opportunities for students to develop labour market skills to become "global-ready" graduates.

The seminar will explore the many ways in which university professional services can positively influence student success. It will draw on case studies, practical examples, frameworks and tools from different countries, institutions and European University Alliances, offering actionable insights for your own institution.
